Missionaries

The Bible tells us that every single one of God’s people is to go out and share the Good News of Salvation with those around them. What is amazing is that many people have decided to make sharing the Gospel their full time job. We usually call these people missionaries. OCF Carlton supports several missionaries (both financially and in prayer).

Lydia Lee

Lydia Lee first came to Melbourne as a student, graduated in Media studies at RMIT and upon graduation immediately went into full time work with Singapore Youth for Christ in July 2004, serving as part of their Media Ministry.

Currently the main projects under her charge is Project Serve (A holiday program for Christians) to mobilise them to do the work of youth evangelism.

What you may not know about Lydia is that she is an ex-OCF Carltoner!

Yoke Ling Wong

Yoke Ling first came to Melbourne as a student, graduated in Computer Science at Melbourne University, and upon graduation worked in her field of studies for about 2 years before coming to Melbourne to do her 1 year postgrad diploma in biblical studies at Ridley College. Following that she went into full time ministry with university students under FES.

And guess what… Yoke Ling is also an ex-OCF Carltoner.
