This year’s Belgrave Heights Convention was themed “Faith That Works” and it indeed assured us of the faith we have in Christ Jesus and also to challenge us to live Christian lives with Integrity. The speakers Jonathan Lamb and Vaughan Roberts spoke from 2 Corinthians and Proverbs respectively egging us on to ensure we live lives full of integrity and wisdom in a world that challenges us daily.
One of the sermons that spoke to me was Vaughan Robert’s “Taming the Tongue”. It challenged me to watch my speech and to build up not tear down. It reminded me how easily I could do either and encouraged me to speak love and truth into people’s hearts rather than to flippantly joke about their short comings. Seeing and speaking to one’s potential rather than their current situation was key to encouraging them towards greater growth in God. It reminded me of how I should pay close attention to what I say and how I say things to people.
I would encourage anyone and everyone to attend Belgrave Heights Convention when it swings around next year and for the time being, to test my words and to investigate for yourself on the books of the bible and the lives of those around you and yourself. To live lives that shine integrity and that is directed by the Wisdom from God. Let’s all strive to have ‘Faith that Works!’

Thanks for coming despite the danger of starvation (oy..c.e), chattering monkeys at night, over the top strikingly attention-arresting beautiful orange jacket..
On the hill that we battle to climb each day!
